In his first event as an ILCA 7 sailor, Finlay won the Ulster Championships at County Antrim Yacht Club, winning 5 out of the 6 races.

On the Water Again

Following lockdown rules, Finlay is sailing on his own at Peterhead. “It is great to get back on to the water again,” said Finlay. ” I am really looking forward to getting back into competition in the summer.”

Laser Radial Youth European Championships

Finlay has just applied to compete in the Laser Radial Youth European Championships, which are in Kastela, Croatia in 2021. Hopefully, the travel restrictions in Scotland will be lifted by then allowing us to travel and Finlay to compete. Thank you as ever to IYST for making this possible.
