This website is to support the sailing of Finlay Tulett and Molly Tulett and the race management of Nik James and Helen James.

The Sailor

Finlay was a GB Junior Squad member for 2 years and a Scottish Junior Development Squad member for three. As a junior sailor he competed at regional, national and world championships. He was Scottish Series winner in his Topper for 2 years in a row, was 11th in the British Championships and came in the top 20 in the World Championships in Southern China

As a youth sailor he was a member of the Scottish Youth Development Squad and competed at regional, national and world championships including those at Kingston, Ontario and Stavanger, Norway. He is currently Scottish ILCA 7 champion for the 2nd year in a row.

Studying at the University of Glasgow, Finlay currently does more match racing than ILCA sailing. He also races keel boats of various types.

Finlay is a qualified Dinghy Instructor, coaching mostly in Peterhead.

The Coach

Molly has sailed at regional, national and world championships, representing Scotland as a junior in Toppers and as a youth in Laser Radials. She is a qualified dinghy instructor.

Having studied Multimedia Journalism at GCU, Molly is a journalist for Bauer Media and her representational sailing is taking a backseat at the moment.

Molly has also writen articles for several publications including Gybe, the inhouse ILCA magazine.

Race Management

Nik has been National Scorer for ITCA (Toppers) and UKLA (ILCAs or Lasers in most of the rest of the world). He is currently returning to Toppers – The Friendly Class. He has produced results for club, regional, national and world regattas for junior classes and club, regional and national regattas for youth and adult classes. He is also almost qualified as a National Judge (he has not quite reached the required number of events). He holds his PB2 license.

Shore Support

Helen is happy to provide support at any event that she attends. She really enjoys being Tally or Beachmaster. She loves an event T-shirt.
